Three and Four

I really didn't think things could get any better than they were in my last blog post, but...I was wrong. Two more agents wrote requesting the full manuscript of A House Made of Stars, which brings the total to four agents now reading the full novel! I am beside myself with excitement!

I am still trying not to get my hopes up too high, though, especially when I research these agents more and stare, slack-jawed, at their client list. The publishers these agents have sold books to are also incredible, the lists including Pulitzer-prize winners, National Book Award winners, and even best-sellers in Oprah's Book Club. And these agents are talking to me? They are reading my book? Little me?  

It's truly been a whirlwind these past few days.

It will probably be a while before I hear anything more, but I will keep you updated! Meanwhile, I must *focus* now that school is very soon to be starting up again. Time to focus on poetry and syllabi and defending the dissertation.

Time to get my head out of the clouds and not have any more dreams of agents and selling my book....haha, yeah right ;)
